My name is Carter George.  I founded Donate AED in 2021, at that time I was a sophomore in High School. My father and I identified an opportunity and a need in his community and I was challenged to find a solution. 


With the assistance from several businesses Donate AED was born. From 2021-2024 I successfully raised enough money to place 10 AEDs in the Prince William County Virginia youth sporting community.


In the spring of 2024, I was accepted to attend Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!).


In late August of 2024, I headed off to start the next chapter of my life at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. 


I plan to continue working with Donate AED, as well as looking for new opportunities within Blacksburg, VA.

Our Mission

AED Placements

Our Mission

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is one of the leading killers of kids participating in youth sports.  On average 2,000 children die each year due to SCA.  


Having an on-site AED helps improve chances of survival by as much as 50%.  Donate AED aims to help raise money and install four AEDs each year.  The average AED and necessary components cost around $1500.
